RYVAN Recruiting is searching for a Staff Accountant (DIRECT HIRE & ONSITE) for our client in Miami. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, account analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities : -Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established accounting procedures-Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports-Conduct account analysis and reconciliation on a regular basis-Compile and sort invoices and checks.
- Match invoices to work order-Support customer billing-Enter daily key data of financial transactions in database / ERP-Provide accounting and clerical support to company personnel-Assist in the preparation of various accounting statements and financial report-Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations-Preparing monthly sales commissions-Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry and filing Requirements : -3+ years of accounting support or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
- AS degree or equivalent experience and or education combination preferred-Proficient understanding of AR and AP bookkeeping and accounting principles-Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions-Ability to meet deadlines-Good computer skills - Microsoft Office-Bilingual (English / Spanish) required-2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment a plus-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-Prior experience in public accounting is preferred $50k - $60k (DOE) ONSITE DIRECT HIRE Benefits : 401(k) w 3% MatchMedical / Dental / VisionPTO & Paid Sick Time availablePerformance bonus opportunities available
