Position Summary :

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for managing daily inbound and outbound activities.

Position Responsibilities :

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities
• Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity
• Track and coordinat e the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods
• Order supplies and maintain suitable inventory levels
• Maintain records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation
• Ensur e basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Perform a weekly inspection of the warehouse grounds
• Coordinat e and maintain fleets and equipment
• Communicat e and coordinat e with other departments and customers
• Manag e and control WMS system
• Investigate, reports, documents , and corrects shipping / freight damage
• Train, develop, and motivate personnel to ensure maximum utilization of resources, enhancing productivity and creating an environment of cooperative management

Position Qualifications

Requirements :

• 4 - year degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 or more years supervisory experience
• Thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as cost or general accounting, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and / or materials management.
• Attention to detail, Effective ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred :

Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred.
