Position :
This position is primary to dayshift but will be required to flex to alternate shifts to accommodate the needs on the off shifts.
The position requires an RN to coordinate educational programs which facilitate the professional growth, skill, development, and competency while using general educational and adult educational principles.
The position will also assist with the staff scheduling process and administrative tasks as assigned. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services.
This is a non-union hourly position with limited weekend and no holiday requirement.
Qualifications :
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
- BSN required or actively in school to complete
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications required
- One year of clinical education experience preferred
- Emergency Care experience required
- TNCC certification preferred but not required
- EMS experience preferred
Requirements :
- Comprehensive current knowledge of nursing and health care practices
- Evidence of good communication skills
- Ability to work well one-on-one or in groups
- EPIC Systems Liaison with the IS department and other departments
- Unit educator for all employees within the ED unit to include EPIC Systems
- Establishes and maintains a close working relationship with the Main Education department
- Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
- Assist with staff scheduling
- Assist with administrative tasks as assigned
- Participation in PPC
- Assist Employee Health with employee fit testing
- All other tasks as assigned
