Job Summary
Works with Financial Advisors to understand client objectives and goals. Analyzes data provided by clients to prepare new financial plans, updates for meetings or responses to client requests.
Analyses may involve retirement, estate, insurance / survivor, education, tax and retirement projections or portfolio planning.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Works in a team environment in support of the financial planning process from discovery to plan delivery. Maintains communication with team members as needed to coordinate the process.
- Works with Financial Advisors to understand client objectives and goals.
- Obtains data from clients and analyzes data to prepare new financial plans, updates for meetings, or responses to client requests.
- Enters client data into applicable database.
- Explains financial plan documents to clients in the absence of the financial planner.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience :
One year of job related experience in financial services.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
- Analytical skills
- Ability to routinely work with confidential information and materials
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software products
Additional Information
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
- Series 7 and 63
- Familiarity with one or more financial planning applications, such as EMoney or similar financial planning application.
