Salary Range : $29.85 / hour - $48.27 / hour base rate (final salary based on work experience)

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide direct care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients.
- Plan, direct, and / or participate in the education of the patient, family, community and health professionals.
- Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate person (i.e. physicians, head nurse, charge nurse, and / or nursing supervisor) and records those observations accurately and concisely.
- Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the hospital and assigned nursing department.
- Participates in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups. Full understanding of the attendance and punctuality guidelines, andadhere to the dress code.
- Participate in nursing research.
- Provides quality care to patients and work with multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction.
- May complete unit / department specific duties as outlined in department documents.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Participation in a professional nursing organization. Additional license / certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs.
This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
