Job Description Position Overview
AmeriSource HR Consulting Group offers HCM transition services to organizations looking to make a change. With our expansive system knowledge, we consult from a client-side to manage the heavy lifting required to set up a new system.
We execute project tasks and ensure timely completion of implementation for a successful go-live target date.
We are excited to be adding this position to our team and are looking for our next professional, yet personable, HCM Project Manager.
If you are a project manager, familiar with the inner workings of a true HCM, and the ability to put your client at ease through the process, this is the job for you! This is a full-time, remote work position working in a highly collaborative and challenging work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct a needs analysis to better understand how to best support our client
- Lead all aspects of the implementation project as a client-side resource to include :
- Identifying reports or writing reports needed for data extraction
- Auditing data and system database to ensure accuracy of data and set up
- Managing interim changes in the new system between import and go-live
- Utilizing Smartsheet, our internal project management system, on each project to ensure all parties involved are up to date to include creating project timelines in Smartsheet, tracking milestones, providing weekly reports and updates
- Assist and delegate work to the HCM Specialists to ensure that project timelines are met.
- Ensuring team involvement in all implementation calls, while providing additional client support as needed.
- Ensuring system kick-off is successful
- Training client end-users and providing custom system training, if necessary.
- Provide red carpet customer service in all areas of the implementation - this doesn’t mean always saying yes!
Minimum Qualifications :
- Proficient in MS Office with Advanced Excel skills
- Experience leading a team and project
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud-based HRIS / HCM systems
- Possess a high level of HCM specific technical understanding in at least one of the following HCM / HRIS products : Paycor, UKG, Paylocity, Paycom or iSolved
- Ability to multi-task including a strong attention to detail
- Must be organized and process-driven.
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times
- Proactive self-starter and willingness to take ownership in a project
- Excellent communication and technical support skills
- Previous payroll, implementation or HR Experience is strongly recommended
- High School Diploma with equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree and / or PM certifications preferred.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 PM. But must have flexible schedule to meet business and / or client needs deliverables.
