Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Sunbelt isseeking a Special Education Teacherto join our team near Lake Barcroft, Virginia.
- Develops curriculum suitable for students and will differentiate instruction accordingly to the students needs
- Secondary FLSis designed to provide students grades 6-8 with opportunities and experiences for developing and refining academic and adaptive skills as they move toward greater independence
- The Interlude program focuses on improving social and emotional functioning in students grades 6-8 who have significant interfering behaviors due to psychological or behavioral disorders
- Each teacher will have a caseload of 15 + students who may have various disability categories
- Participate in the development of, and oversee implementation of IEP'S for students eligible for special education

Qualifications :
Special Education Teacher Certification in the state of Virginia
Schedule and Compensation :
- Full-time
- 7 : 30am-3 : 00pm
- Monday through Friday
- ASAP - June 2025
As an employee of Sunbelt, you will be paid weekly and your compensation package will be based off your needs. This is an hourly paid position, W2, and full-time applicants are eligible for dental, vision, and healthbenefits, as well as 401k.
