S.Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a senior DoD acquisition program manager for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division Unified Platform.

JOB DETAILSLOCATION : San Antonio, TX JOB STATUS : FTTRAVEL : 5%REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Masters degree and 12 years of directly related experience, of which 5 years must be in DoD;

or 15 years of directly related experience in lieu of masters degree, of which 5 years must be in DoD; or 20 years’ experience in lieu of degree.

Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearanceDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Experience in an agile development environment.

Experience in an ACAT I program office preferred Comfortable working and communicating with senior military leaders Experienced in all phases of the DoD acquisition life cycle Confluence and Jira experience preferred.

Experience in a DevSecOps environment. Software Acquisition Pathway experience Ability to communicate across diverse functional teams (finance, contracting, cost, engineering and development, etc)RESPONSIBILITIES Investigates, analyzes, plans, evaluates, drafts and / or recommends solutions for project / program efforts.

Provides expert-level issue resolution and recommendations support to achieve desired program outcomes. Applies broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning.

Applies knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget / finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, in the planning, programming, budgeting, and executing (PPBE) process.

Reviews initial and revised acquisition documents and provides the enterprise-level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Provides comments on acquisition documentation that add value from an enterprise perspective and facilitates an integrated, system-of-systems approach across the division.
