Shift : Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7 am and 6 pm (No weekends, no call, no holidays)

License : New York State License
Certifications :
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association)
Must-Have :
CT certification and PET / CT experience
Job Description :
- Review patient history and physician's orders.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures, ensuring proper techniques.
- Address patient needs related to age and comprehension to ensure image quality.
- Review patient information to confirm an appropriate plan for care.
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy according to practice standards.
- Analyze imaging results and identify any quality issues, taking action to resolve them.
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.
- Manage radiopharmaceuticals, including ordering, preparing, administering, storing, and disposing per protocols and regulations.
- Continually monitor patient conditions and respond to changes as needed.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of clinical supplies for nuclear medicine rooms.
