Job Title : Accounting Manager

Location : North Birmingham, On-site

Compensation : Up to $120k + bonus

What the role is about :

• Responsible for financial statement & budget preparation, account analysis, financial reporting, & variance analysis
• Responsible for reviewing and approving journal entries submitted by the accounting department.
• Responsible for reviewing and approving monthly account reconciliations.
• Support the month-end close process.
• Maintaining fixed assets accounting (additions, disposals, depreciation, etc)
• Oversight of AR / AP & Billing
• May design and / or modify accounting processes Required Qualifications :
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Certified Public Account (CPA) preferred
• Minimum 5years work experience in accounting
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and desire to expand responsibilities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to :

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;
• other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
