Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. You will work in a school environment to evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders, helping them reach their academic and social potential.
Key Duties
- Conduct detailed speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Educate students and families on strategies to improve communication skills.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student evaluations and progress.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
