HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a leading semiconductor service supplier company to hire a Safety Specialist. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving safety protocols and procedures at our facilities and project sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies while fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

Position : Bilingual Safety Specialist (Spanish / English)

Location : North Phoenix, Arizona

Type : Direct Hire

Pay Rate : $25-28 / hour DOE

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits at project and manufacturing sites
  • Enforce compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs, including new hire orientation, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills
  • Maintain records of incidents, training, and safety-related documentation
  • Investigate workplace incidents and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
  • Support risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHA) for ongoing projects
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and operations teams to promote safe work practices
  • Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance and readiness
  • Participate in internal and client safety meetings
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and documentation as required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a safety-related role in an industrial, construction, or chemical environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety best practices
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • OSHA 30 certification or higher preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred
  • Spanish bilingual abilities is a MUST.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to project sites as needed
