We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our imaging team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology.
What You’ll Do
As a CT Technologist, you will :
- Perform CT scans of all body regions following established protocols and radiologist direction.
- Obtain and document relevant clinical history to support accurate interpretation.
- Start IVs and administer contrast media safely, assessing patient condition and allergies.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Practice sterile techniques and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions.
- Accurately track exams using the Radiology Information System and ensure timely upload to PACS.
- Assist with quality control and accreditation processes.
- Train and orient new staff, students, and job shadows.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
What We’re Looking For
Education : Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.Certification : ARRT certification and Indiana State Board of Health license required.Experience : Minimum of 3 months on-the-job CT training; prior CT experience preferred.Skills : Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient positioning, and CT protocols. Excellent communication and computer skills.Working Conditions
Clinical environment with exposure to radiation; protective gear required.Must wear film badge and adhere to strict safety standards.Physical Demands
Ability to walk / stand for extended periods, push equipment up to 50 lbs, and lift patients (up to 35 lbs unassisted).Must be able to perform CPR and respond to emergencies.Why You’ll Love Working Here
