Software : Solid Works / Cam Works Preferred

Primary Duties :

• Program and set up CNC Mills, and Lathes.
• Set up jobs and edit CNC programs to optimize the manufacturing process to reduce cycle times and setup time while maintaining part accuracy.
• Proficient in CAD / CAM Software Systems. CAMWorks Preferred.
• Assist In Fixture / Tooling Design.
• Interpret and understand part drawing specifications, materials, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters;

interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances.

• Inspect and verify the dimensions of the workpiece for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as templates, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks.
• Must have machining applications and part processing experience.
• Work directly with the Engineering Department.
• Work and Communicate well with others.
• Other duties as specified by Management.

G eneral Requirements :

• Min 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good work ethic.
• Dedication to detail.
• Punctuality and self-motivation.
• The job may require work outside the normal workday which is 6 : 00 am-4 : 30 pm. Monday-Friday.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Read and interpret component drawings, layouts, sketches, or other specifications to determine the most efficient way to process jobs.
• Selects tooling, cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut to process the job most efficiently.
• Measure parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Other requirements may be added in the future as the market dictates.
