Our client is looking for a Production Manager to lead their Operations team in producing high-quality, sustainable rPET. This role oversees ~60 hourly employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead day-to-day operations to achieve production and quality targets
  • Supervise and develop direct reports (engineer + specialist)
  • Drive safety-first culture and enforce all protocols and standards
  • Champion continuous improvement to reduce waste, downtime, and complaints
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, logistics, and quality teams
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Coach and support supervisors on people management and policy adherence
  • Partner with HR on hiring, training, and performance reviews

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering or Technical discipline)
  • 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing (plastics or recycling a strong plus)
  • Strong knowledge of material flow, production scheduling, and safety management
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and driving results across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) highly preferred
