About The Position
Job Title : Dual Modality Tech (CT and X-ray) Job Specialty : Imaging Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8 hours, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred License : Active VA State License required Certifications : AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R Must-Have : Strong IV skills Job Description : Perform CT and X-ray procedures with proficiency.
- Conduct common CT studies including but not limited to Heads, Abdomen, Pelvic, Angiography, and extremities.- Execute X-ray studies such as chest (portable), and routine exams.
- Demonstrated skills in handling 0-15 studies per day, with a possibility of up to 22 exams.- Utilize EPIC EMR and Fuji PACs for documentation and record-keeping.
- Availability for backup on-call duties one weekend per month.- Participate in holiday rotations, covering one major and one minor holiday.
- Be prepared to respond to on-call needs within a 45-minute timeframe.- No floating responsibilities required.- Comply with safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Participate in floor-specific orientation to ensure preparedness.- Utilize GE CT unit and Philips X-ray units during shifts.
- Wear black scrubs during working hours.
