Senior Accountant (Bilingual Japanese)
Our client is a late stage SaaS company in NYC that is experiencing significant year over year growth and is in the process of international expansion.
They are looking to hire a Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller to handle day-to-day accounting, month end close, and financial reporting, as well as liasing with the team overseas on business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly close process including financial statement review and analysis
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Manage cash and bank statements reconciliation on a daily basis
- Perform operational analysis as directed by management
- Assist with development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls
- Support the year-end audit, preparation of tax returns and other external reporting requirements
- Oversee T&E review and approval process
- Liaise with team overseas
Requirements :
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Bilingual in English and Japanese
- Additional preference for candidates with public accounting work experience
