Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Cancer Symptom Management Clinic

Work Schedule : 100% FTE, 8, 10, and 12 hour rotations Monday-Friday and rotating weekends. Be part of something remarkable As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to :

  • Grow our Cancer Symptom Management Clinic, which was established in 2023 to provide expedited outpatient access for oncology patient evaluation with a goal to decrease avoidable emergency room visits.
  • Collaborate with nursing triage to evaluate and treat patients experiencing acute complications of their oncologic condition and / or side effects of therapy.

ie. Neutropenic fever, intractable nausea / vomiting)

Assess patients in the infusion / chemotherapy area who experience an acute change in condition (ie. Infusion reactions) Education : If Nurse Practitioner : Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant : Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner* :

  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following : Adult, Adult / Gerontology Acute Care, Adult / Gerontology Primary Care, Family. If Physician Assistant* :
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
