Job Description
We are looking for a construction equipment mechanic truck mechanic to assist with preventative maintenance and equipment repairs in the shop.
Applicants should have some experience with equipment repair so they can determine what parts and tools are necessary for repairs.
Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
- Make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as concrete saws, hand saws, wall saws, water pumps, and trucks
- Troubleshoot issues
- Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
- Complete shop paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Equipment Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with equipment repair
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Welding experience preferred
- Metal Fabrication experience preferred
- Manual dexterity
