About the Role
Scoular is seeking an FP&A Manager at Corporate headquarters, responsible for the financial planning, monthly financial forecasting, analytical support of financial results, tracking of key initiatives, and supporting the development of strategic business plans.
This role will also be leading the implementation of a robust new financial planning & analytics tool, as well as supporting the efforts from a data perspective of the new ERP.
Reporting directly to the Director of Global FP&A, this position focuses on the consolidated reporting & operations, driving timelines, budgeting / forecasting, completing BOD and Bank materials.
The FP&A lead will analyze key business trends, actual versus plan variances, etc. The person in this role will have frequent contact with all levels of the finance organization, senior management and operations management.
This position will be a key member of the organization responsible for achieving the newly created finance mission of being business partners who proactively create and safeguard stakeholder value.
- Support, define and implement best-practice FP&A processes, methods and tools
- Lead roll-out of new Workday Adaptive FP&A software, including financial planning, analytics and LRP models
- Become company expert in data capture, data analytics, blending the operation and financial data of the company
- Drive consistency and standardization of value-add company performance analysis and financial reporting for monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
- Lead the financial forecasting and budgeting process for the enterprise
- Prepare and support the presentation of the strategic plan for stock valuation
- Analyze monthly financial statements, highlighting the key drivers of the financial results and utilizing KPIs and benchmark dashboards customized to the business or function
- Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor demonstrating a deep understanding of strategic company priorities and growth drivers
- Support initiatives and projects throughout the organization with a focus on driving actions that improve the company performance
- Play a significant role in business development and M&A activities
- Complete economic research, analyze macro and industry trends, and complete benchmarking against peers
- Implement process improvement initiatives resulting from benchmarking, industry trends, and best practices
- Synthesizes and simplifies financial and non-financial data for the company
- Maintains proficiency with financial and statistical modeling techniques
- Support the CEO, CFO & Director of Global FP&A in preparing presentations and materials for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Board.

Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics and / or an MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of FP&A or related experience
- Experience with Workday suite of products a plus
- Strong financial modeling skills, especially financial statement and cash flow statement
- Ability to consume, blend and digest large amounts of data
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, proven problem solving, leadership and interpersonal skills and be a proven team player, who is highly organized and achievement oriented
- Ability to partner with internal customers effectively
- Proven skill in converting detailed financial analysis into digestible presentations
- Effective communication across the organizations as well as upwards
- Demonstrated experience in collaboration with multiple teams
- Meticulous organization skills, strong customer focus, and flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business needs
- Proven leadership skills, with focus on developing staff and other team members
