Pricing Analyst
Location : Brampton, ON
Job purpose
Thepurpose of this position is to maximize profitability by keeping pricing systemsand data updated and by providing prompt pricing decisions to the sales group.
Duties and responsibilities
Theduties and responsibilities of the pricing analyst are to :
provide special pricing quotations to the sales team in a prompt manner
respond to pricing shifts in the market by proactively adjusting customer pricing
ensure pricing on open sales / purchase orders is present, profitable, and free of discrepancy
maintain supplier costing and process cost changes
manage supplier supports / rebates for applications, claims, and database maintenance
Support routine reporting initiatives in adherence to internal controls
suggest and implement enhancements to existing pricing processes and systems
review abnormal margins and invoice discrepancies and process pricing corrections as needed
provide ad hoc reports, advice and analysis to sales group for more effective pricing decisions
Provide ad hoc support to Financial Analysts
Qualifications / Competencies
Academic requirements include a college or university degree in business and commerce or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience with ERP’s, CRM, and Business Intelligence platforms (JDE, Salesforce, and Tableau CRM preferred)
Working conditions
