This team drives firm growth by developing compelling and compliant proposals and other sales collateral for offices, service lines, and industry groups across the firm.

The position collaborates with other proposal team members, senior-level client service professionals, and other members of the firm’s sales and marketing team.

  • Responsibilities : Consult with client-facing professionals to understand how to best position our firm for specific opportunities and own a dynamic queue of assignments, prioritizing appropriately to meet strict submittal deadlinesIndependently develop (write, edit, format, and proofread) proposals, using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with speed and accuracyProject manage each proposal through the full proposal development cycle, establishing timelines and proactively communicating expectations around both internal and client deadlines for on-time, complete submissionsCapture, shape, and synthesize information provided by pursuit team members and other sources to reflect a cohesive messageEnsure proposal responses are compliant with specific request for proposal (RFP) requirements, as neededProvide exceptional client service to internal clients including developing rapport, being responsive, and providing high-quality deliverablesUnderstand the firm’s service offerings, brand standards, and common risks in the proposal process, escalating pursuit-specific concerns or questions as necessaryDevelop PowerPoint presentations or other sales collateral for oral presentations, as needed, with strong attention to formatting, consistency, and graphic layoutWork closely with client service professionals to advise them on sales strategy and develop customized proposals that specifically address the needs and interests of each prospective clientDevelop new or customized content (either independently or in collaboration with client service professionals) to respond to unique proposal RFP questionsWrite persuasive content and customize document content and layouts to produce a compelling document for specific prospective clientsRegularly contribute new or improved content to the proposal content library;
  • may include helping client service professionals draft, update, or improve resumes and biosProactively explore and embrace technology and tools used by the proposal and sales teamsQualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required;

emphasis in business, communications, or a related field preferredMinimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferredDemonstrated knowledge of project management, persuasive writing, and / or sales and MarketingExcellent command of English grammar, spelling, and composition, both written and verbal communicationOrganizational and project management skills with the ability to own and drive project schedule from start to finishSelf-directed professional with strong interpersonal and client-service skillsStrong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees andleaders at all levels within the firmStrong attention to detail, including proofreading and editing skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint preferredAbility to travel as needed, approximately 5%Moss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
