GA Foods is seeking a Route Delivery Driver for our Little Rock location. If you have a valid driver 's license with a good driving record and want to make a difference in peoples ' lives, this is the job for you! This is a remote driving position that requires two overnight stays : one per week in Blytheville, AR and one in Homes, AR.

Route Delivery Driver Essential Functions : Safe delivery of food items and supplies to customer homes in a timely and accurate mannerVehicle upkeep and cleanlinessReport any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptlyMaintain driver scorecardCheck vehicle fluid levels and perform general routine inspection of vehicle to ensure all is in working orderAssist with packing and / or storing of food items, components and / or supplies as requiredMaintain communications with Customer ServiceRecordkeeping as requiredParticipate in all required company trainingMay drive up to 16 ' Box truck or smaller commercial vehicleIf delivering to sites, would push / pull medium warmers on wheels up to 320 lbs.

larger warmers up to 370 lbs depending on routeLift, carry and deliver coolers weighing up to 40 lbs depending on routeIf delivery to customer homes, would lift and carry generally 1-2 boxes weighing up to 15 lbs eachMay have access to confidential information as necessary to perform job functions, and as such, is required to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Other duties as assigned by managementRoute Delivery Driver Requirements : Valid AR Driver 's LicenseBasic computer skills are necessary in order to utilize a tablet to record activity and general vehicle informationAbility to carry out some physical activity, including pallet jack operation and loading and unloading of trucks is requiredMust have current DOT medical card (or are able to pass the DOT medical exam) as you will be operating a CMV straight truckPerfect or near perfect attendance at their previous employersMust successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screeningPrior route / delivery / distribution experience requiredPhysical Demands : May drive up to 16 ' Box truck or smaller commercial vehicleIf delivering to sites, would push / pull medium warmers on wheels up to 320 lbs.
