DescriptionWe are actively seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is focused on capital markets within the finance industry.
As a Business Development Officer, you will be expected to develop and implement strategies, foster relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the company's financial planning.Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute capital market strategies to enhance company profits
- Foster and maintain relationships with institutional investors, lenders, and investment banks
- Lead the negotiation process for capital market transactions and oversee the internal process of these transactions
- Monitor market trends and analyze financial data to inform the company's strategic plans
- Collaborate with senior management in the financial planning of the company
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge on the regulatory landscape
- Utilize skills in Business Development, Capital Management, Capital Markets, and Consultative Sales to drive success in the role
- Develop and maintain a strategic direction in capital markets
- Lead initiatives to maximize company profits through capital market strategies
- Manage relationships with institutional investors, lenders, and investment banks to ensure the company's financial growth.Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in Business Development, Capital Management, Capital Markets, and Consultative Sales
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective business development strategies
- Strong understanding of capital markets and ability to make informed business decisions based on market trends
- Extensive knowledge of capital management principles and practices
- Exceptional consultative sales skills, with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving business objectives
- High level of business acumen, with the ability to understand and interpret financial data
- Proactive and forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate future business needs and opportunities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is required
