Description :

MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND.

The position is for a step-down unit specializing in patient care.

The shift is three 12-hour nights each week.

The unit cares for adult acute care patients requiring specialized medical attention.

Patients are monitored continuously for vital signs and telemetry.

The team is vigilant and provides compassionate care using a multi-disciplinary approach.

The unit cares for patients needing airway management and acute support.

Nurses are responsible for titrated medicated IV infusions and central line management.

Care includes interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of cardiac drips.

Staff will float between units as needed.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, quick-thinking, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Experience in handling a 4 : 1 patient ratio on nights is preferred.

Candidates must have experience with Epic charting systems.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
