About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1734 To $1926 Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Job Specialty : Staff Augmentation Job Duration : 52 weeks Shift : Day 8 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Experience : License : Must be a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LiSW) or a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with proper documentation.
Certifications : Must-Have : Proper documentation for LiSW or LPCC, with potential for temp-to-hire. Job Description : Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary mental health treatment team.
- Responsible for assigned mental health interventions for a caseload of mentally ill criminal offenders.- Complete detailed mental health screenings and risk assessments, including suicide watch assessments, within scope of practice.
- Operate under direct consultation with an Independently Licensed Mental Health Professional when not independently licensed.
- Conduct individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed on the individual mental health treatment plan.- Provide psychosocial group interventions as prescribed on the mental health treatment plan.
- Offer mental health liaison services, monitoring offender progress with treatment plan goals.- Complete psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Compile transfer and discharge summaries.- Consult with other institution staff regarding caseload inmate’s institutional adjustment and service needs.
- Initiate and maintain contact with families and community agencies, providing and seeking information relative to patient care and treatment.
- Make appropriate community referrals per mental health treatment team.- Document and report all inmate contacts, including progress note entries, discharge plans, and necessary forms and reports.
- Attend meetings for social work or counselor supervision.- Participate in in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
