Elastic Search Engineer
What are we looking for in our Elastic Search Engineer?
Title - Elastic Search Engineer
Duration - 12+ months
Location - Can be fully remote. Preference to have candidate local to Alpharetta, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, or California MS offices.
Rate - $70 / hr to $80 / hr on w2 (depends on exp)
Must Haves :
- 7+ years of experience as an Elastic Search Engineer
- Has to have been an ELK Admin
- Set up entire cluster from scratch, done upgrades from different elastic versions, knows in and outs how to set up data and master notes.
- Ability to build new elastic search clusters and maintain
- Great communication (written and verbal)
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience of the ELK Stack : ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana. Good to have Ruby and / or Python, GIT and ETL Knowledge Candidate will be responsible for :
- Maintaining and supporting Elasticsearch cluster.
- Creating cluster from the scratch
- Decommissioning and Recommissioning servers
- Analyzing , troubleshooting the issues with the clusters.
- Working with the Elastic Stack.
- Evaluating existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, security and administration.
- Maintaining appropriate infrastructure to maintain performance and data integrity.
- Keeping Elasticsearch clusters upgraded.
- Following the best practices
- Ensuring appropriate monitoring & alerting of Elasticsearch
- Understanding of Networking to support the network related pipelines
