PPG Aerospace is seeking a Quality Control Technician at our site in Valencia, CA.

As an Aerospace Quality Control Technician , you will be involved in the execution of inspections related to product quality. If you are curious and passionate about delivering quality products, and want to work for an industry leader, then this may be the career opportunity for you!

You will work onsite at our Valencia, CA location and report to the Quality Control Manager.

Responsibilities :

• Follow established procedures and guidelines to check, test, and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods.
• Be involved in physical inspection and / or testing of raw materials as well as in process and finished goods. Tests conducted may include visual, dimensional, etc.
• Performing internal auditing.
• Calibration of Equipment, housekeeping and disposing of material and product.
• Following specifications, SOPs and industry standards for inspection of parts.
• Crafting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Upholding safety standards for the team, and this includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safety guidelines.
• Time management and recognition of work efficiency.

Qualifications :

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000.
