What you'll be doing
- Advises and collaborates with key internal and / or external stakeholders define and develop our Data Governance strategy
- Manages, designs, and develops data definition, production, usage, classification, and compliance rules across the enterprise.
- Improves the quality and reliability of data through discovery and process improvement.
- Identifies, initiates, and develops processes / projects to implement the Data Governance vision and framework while remaining aligned with overall business objectives.
- Facilitates resolutions of data definition, production, and usage issues across multiple business units.
- Serves as a resource to internal stakeholders on complex Data Governance solutions which optimize client requirements and achieve desired business results.
- Provides expertise and collaborates with data owners and custodians to assess, select and recommend complex solutions and / or alternative approaches that will achieve Data Governance goals.
- Collaborates effectively with appropriate stakeholders on complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects.
- Validates that the Data Governance solution meets the business need by developing complex acceptance criteria and plan to evaluate tools to optimally support data literacy
- Facilitates change to the organizations through the analysis, design and implementation of Data Governance processes that achieves business objectives.
- Serves as a Data Governance mentor and shares knowledge with junior and / or peer team members.
What we’re looking for
- 4 Year Bachelor's degree or 4 + years of equivalent work experience in Business Analysis and / or Data Governance
- 5 7+ Years experience in business analysis or data governance that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
- Prior experience using a data catalog or data governance tool strongly preferred
- Demonstrates proficiency with data warehousing and management reporting projects / initiatives.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements.
- Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Nice to-haves :
- Basic SQL programming knowledge and practice
- Working knowledge of Tableau desktop

The pay range for this position is $90,300 - $164,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
