Job Opportunity : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures.
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and collaborate with the Anesthesia / Surgery / Perioperative team to select appropriate interventions.
  • Manage all aspects of anesthesia care including preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative care.
  • Provide airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
  • Support the professional development of peers and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care for all procedures.
  • Promote the Henry Ford experience by exceeding patient and customer expectations.
  • Educate staff, colleagues, patients, and families while precepting new staff as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • At least 2 years of CRNA work experience (not including RN or training).
  • Active Michigan Nursing and Specialty Licenses.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Clean malpractice and license history.
  • Ability to travel to other ambulatory sites as necessary.
  • Open to H1B or J1 visa candidates.
  • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Must possess an active Michigan license in nursing and specialty.
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 and annual flu vaccinations (or willing to obtain).
  • DEA and CSR / CDS must be obtained prior to start.
