Bookkeeper

The Part-Time Bookkeeper provides professional support for and works closely with the CFO. Analyzes financial reports and ensures legal requirements compliance, processes accounts payable and receivable and manages invoices and payments.

Provides financial and administrative support by ensuring payments are verified and invoices are reconciled according to established contracts in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

DUTIES

• Processes corporate accounts payables and receivables; posting receipts / bills, invoices and payments accurately into appropriate accounting system.
• Creates invoices and sends them to customers through various channels.
• Maintains communications with corporate customers appropriately regarding outstanding invoices and payments.
• Assists Chief Financial Officer with account audits, budget graphs and data forecasts.
• Updates accounting records and sets contract templates to review.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

• Ability to communicate and work closely with leadership, physicians and staff.
• Solid understanding of general bookkeeping and accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks and with bookkeeping with multiple business lines and companies
• Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor's / Associate's degree in accounting or related field, or certification and extensive related experience.
• Extensive and demonstrated ability to assume complex and independent responsibilities.
