Accountant, Captive and Insurance Management (Burlington, VT) Aon is looking for an Accountant, Captive Insurance and Management (Burlington, VT)

As an Accountant, you will work closely with a broader team of professionals ensuring all thepliance, finance and accounting requirements are met for a portfolio of captive insurancepanies.

This is a hybrid role based in Vermont and will provide the candidate with a unique opportunity to grow professionally and expand their skill set.

What the day will look like

  • Preparing the financial statements for a portfolio of diverse accounts
  • Preparing regulatory filings and premium tax returns
  • Preparing supporting materials for annual Board meetings
  • Reconciling loss and investment report data
  • Support and collate key financial information for captive audits and examinations.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience in preparing financial statements with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or related experiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Experience managing several projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor of Accounting / Finance / Business administration degree or captive experience
  • Minimum of 3 year of accounting experience
  • Effectivemunicator, both verbally and in writing

The salary range for this position is $48,500 -$75,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities , as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Burlington, VT. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
