We are looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician that is a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.
Essential job expectations including, but not limited to :
- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Radiology
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Dentistry
- Laboratory work
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
Qualified Candidates will have :
- Must have documented previous Animal Hospital experience
- Hold a current California RVT license
- Must have surgery and dentistry experience
- Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Customer service skills including Phone skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Excellent communications skills
- Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments

Benefits : VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical / Dental / Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training.
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $28 to $31 per hour.
