Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU
Shift : Days / 7a-7 : 30p, 12x3, 36hrs / week, EOW
Length : 13 Weeks
Weekends : Every other weekend or equivalent of 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule (Example : could be 2 in a row, then off 2 in a row)
Requirements :Other Details : Cerner required
Cerner required
beds : 24 Beds (with the capacity to go up to 32 beds)
Ratios : 1 to 1, 1 to 2
First to float
Types of patients : "Respiratory failure, sepsis, AMI, ARDS, GI bleed, CABG (fresh hearts by trained staff), TAVR, Impella, vascular surgeries, neuro surgeries, CVAs.
Neuro experience would be a PLUS. They are adding a Neuro ICU in 2018 & they are seeing a lot of neuro Nurses must participate in multidisciplinary rounds
Must be willing to float to any MedSurg / Tele units (4E, 4W, 5E, 5W, & 6E) Travelers float 1st
No first time travelers

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital.
An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU).
Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). Aside from clinical care such as skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, travel ICU nurse jobs need a RN who can deliver progress updates and support to patients and / or their family.
