UI Engineer Job at Insight Global in Houston

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented UI Engineer with strong expertise in React for one of our top clients in the Supply Chain / Logistics industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces for modern web applications. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to bring user-centric designs to life and ensure seamless user experiences across platforms. As a UI Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of our top customer portal application.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of UI engineering / front end development experience.
• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and reusable UI components using React.
• Collaborate with UX / UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, high-quality code.
• Proficient in UI mockup tools i.e. Storybook, UXPin Merge, Figma, Framer, etc.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high code quality.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and UI development standards.
