Job Details
- Effective 11 / 30 / 24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9 / 9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11 / 30).
- First Time Travelers Accepted
- Staffing Ratios : 1 : 5-6
- Unit Information : Post Operative - Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho etc. & some pre-op patients
- Effective 9 / 1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted;
however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
Job Requirements
- Skillset Requirements : Minimum 2 Year of Med / Surg Experience, 2 Years Overall RN experience required
- Skillset Preferences : Management of dysrhythmias and Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Floating Requirements : Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
Schedule Information
- Shift Requirements : 4x12 or 3x12
- Weekends : Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need
- Charge coverage : Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
