Groundsperson - Lake City, FL

The Groundsperson supports the crew by performing work from the ground including clearing brush and trees as directed, and performing clean-up on each job site. Essential functions include following and enforcing safe practices and rules, keeping work areas clear of debris, and using various tools to clear undergrowth. Additional duties involve loading and unloading trucks, performing general clean-up, setting up and breaking down road signs, flagging traffic, operating equipment, and performing basic maintenance. The role requires physical strength, the ability to work outdoors under varying weather conditions, and the ability to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and a driver's license is required if driving is part of the job.

Travel is required during storm restoration work when needed.
