Summary : Our client is a high quality coffee and espresso equipment manufacturer looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team.
In this role this person would be responsible for packaging, transferring parts to production and managing shipping and receiving activities. Responsibilities :
- Packaging : Properly and efficiently package finished coffee machine parts for shipment.
- Transferring Parts to Production : Organize and transfer parts and materials to the production area to support the manufacturing process.
- Shipping and Receiving : Assist in managing inbound and outbound shipments, including unloading, inspecting, and properly storing incoming materials, as well as preparing and loading outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Maintain Inventory : Keep accurate records of inventory levels and assist in conducting regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment within the warehouse.
- Equipment Maintenance : Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and support overall company goals.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
