Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Must have a valid CA RN License Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have : - Experience with EPIC charting system- Willingness to float to Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units- Weekend work availability- All certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) accredited and verified at the time of application- Background checks must be disclosed, especially any past incidents or DUIs Job Description : The primary role will be in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to float between the PICU, Pediatric, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units.- Ensure adherence to updated health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 vaccinations and flu shots as required.
- Participate in a 16-hour orientation session.- Compliance with a travel distance requirement of over 50 miles is necessary.
