Job Description
Our Family Medicine clinic at Mission Farms is seeking an LPN to join their team! This position will be a blend of direct patient interaction and administrative responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be computer savvy, and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
This is a full-time Monday through Friday day shift.
Hours :
4 Days 7 : 30am - 5pm
1 Half Day (based on Provider schedule) 7 : 30am - 12pm
No holidays or weekends
The Work :
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.
- Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care
- Schedules emergent need patient appointments
- Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration.
- Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice
- Enters admission orders as directed by provider
- Manages expired samples.
- May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed
- Clinic has 11 providers.
