Job Description

YOUR PURPOSE

The HRIS Senior Business Analyst will provide functional and technical system support in all areas of the Workday HCM System.

The incumbent in this position needs to be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Workday including Workday Absence and Time Tracking, Performance, Business Processes, Security, Reporting and Configuration.

The HRIS Senior Business Analyst will lead complex initiatives, conduct research on issues / concerns and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in the current Workday HCM applications (Security, Reporting, Business Processes, Job Requisition, APIs, XML, and data extracts / transmissions)
• Responsible for supporting, understanding, and maintaining Workday system and functionality, specifically core HCM modules
• Will govern, troubleshoot and configure HR business processes and validation rules in Workday
• Understands Workday security domains and how to maintain security on business processes
• Thoroughly understands business processes, condition rules and calculated fields
• Recommend best practices related to Workday Core HCM.
• Provide daily operational support to end users in Workday
• Responsible for functional / technical problems, analyzing errors and diagnosing appropriate resolution with minimal or no supervision
• Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements
• Responsible for providing recommendations to senior management for process and / or system improvements
• Responsible for conducting system testing for upgrades, UAT testing for customizations and / or other changes
• Adept at working on multiple concurrent projects with nominal or no supervision.
• Educating, coaching, and overseeing the activities of less experienced staff and other team members
• Apply in-depth technical analysis to solve system and application issues
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
• Responsible for filing and record keeping of all requests for technical changes / enhancements to the system
• Able to self-learn and develop skills as new functionality is delivered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field
• 3+ years of experience designing and supporting Workday HCM in a corporate HRIS / IT role
• Extensive hands-on experience supporting the Workday application across all HCM modules Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Workday Pro Certified preferred

30 minute preliminary screen

3-4 interviews with members of our team

Physical Requirements :

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.

Finger dexterity is necessary. 10-20% travel time is required.
