We're seeking a Lead Technician with a whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for leading a team and ensuring the community remains in compliance with both internal company standards and applicable laws.
As a Service Manager, you'll provide hands-on trouble-shooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, tiling, masonry and appliances. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU :
- Assist in hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and managing a successful service team
- Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors
- Assist in ensuring all Southern Management policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards are upheld at all times
- Monitor daily activities of service team to ensure product and service quality
- Maintain accurate logs of, and schedules for, all maintenance work and materials
- Perform daily checks of overall community appearance
- Perform service technician responsibilities as necessary
- Schedule, conduct and document regular meetings with service team members
- Schedule and manage appropriate contracts
- Provide high levels of service to all customers and team members
- Aid in preparation of annual budget and community plans
- Respond in emergency situations, as needed
- Stay abreast of industry trends
- Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture
- Contribute to community and company engagement efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
