General Purpose : Our team of Shipping and Receiving Clerks are responsible for shipping out customer orders and coordination with carriers.
Hours : Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm EST
Pay : $19.31 / hr. 1st pay increase after 60 days, $21.88 / hr)
Essential Functions :
- Prepares daily shipments according to client specifications
- Verifies shipments received match packing slips
- Loads and unloads trailers
- Completes training and maintains license for Forklift
- Maintains inventory accuracy and resolves inventory discrepancies
- Ensures deliveries get to appropriate department / recipient
- Performs other job duties as assigned
Requirements :
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience
- Minimum 1 year parcel shipping system experience (UPS / FedEx)
- Minimum 1 year inventory management software experience
- Minimum 1 year scanning / barcoding experience
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Intermediate math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Intermediate computer skills (email, word processing, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime as needed; overtime may be required during busy periods
- Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
