- Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH & KY License.
- Years of Experience : 2+ (No ICU RNS), Float Requirements : Yes Any other PCU or Med Surg.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy (including PICC line management, dressing changes), and IV medications (administration of antibiotics, drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, cardizem).
- Tracheostomy Management, Intermediate / step down experience.
- Type of Patients on Unit : Mix.
- Personality Fit : Positive attitude, flexibility with changes on the unit (patient assignments / floated to another unit), and excellent critical thinking in stressful situations.
Schedule Information
- Shift : 6 : 45PM - 7 : 15AM, Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36, Weekend Hours : Every other weekend.
- Call Requirements : None
- Requested time off Up to 5 days in the offer without manager approval.
- Holidays require manager approval and candidates are advised to work 2 out of the 3 holidays.
Unit Specific Information
- Number of Beds : 21, Patient Ratios : 4 : 1 to 5 : 1, Equipment : BiPAPS, High flow, telemetry monitoring, occasional Cardiac Drips.
- Must have Cerner Experience.
- EMR : Cerner Required
