About The Position
Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 4-10 varied shifts, on-call required;
weekends and holidays on-call only Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of current experience in Cardiac Cath Lab License : RN licensure required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have : - Associate's Degree in an RN program or radiology- Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment- Detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology Job Description : Perform duties in Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and / or Structural Heart- Ensure complete and accurate documentation is maintained- Ensure accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load- Respond to and provide emergent care- Perform administrative tasks including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of operational equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of the lab- Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with Local and Federal regulations- Shift start at 7 a.
m. with on-call required for weekdays, weekends, and holidays- Floating required to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanently assigned location- Orientation during the 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, including EPIC training- Scrubs requiredNote : Prior employment with our healthcare services system within 12 months of the last working day is not considered for a travel position.
