About The Position
Job Title : Cardiovascular Specialist I Job Specialty : Contract Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM, 5x7.
50 Hr Guaranteed Hours : 37.50 per week Experience : Minimum 2 years in Cardiac Cath or EP lab License : N / A Certifications : N / A Must-Have : English proficiency (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description : Prepare patients for invasive cardiac procedures.
- Assist the healthcare team in hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.- Maintain sterile techniques for room and equipment preparation.
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning during procedures.- Alert the care team to any changes during procedures.
- Retrieve supplies under the direction of physicians and nurses as needed.- Restock procedure rooms and lab areas with necessary items after each procedure.
- Participate in product evaluations.- Count revolutions during rotablator procedures.- Set up and check all equipment at the start of each day, troubleshooting as necessary.
- Assist in transporting patients and transferring them to the procedure table.- Follow established guidelines for assignments and assist cardiologists with selective procedures.
- Apply principles and practices of asepsis, performing surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving.- Set up sterile instrument tables and prepare supplies according to procedure type.
- Assist in draping patients and the procedure area as needed.- Foster a culturally sensitive environment and promote diversity.
- Perform other duties as required. Schedule Notes : Shift time of 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM Additional Qualifications : Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Foreign MD who has passed the MBBS examination may substitute.
