Lead ETL Engineer (Chicago)

A large bank / financial company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a SR SQL SSIS Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This person must be able to come on site 2-3x week in their downtown Chicago office. This individual will be a part of an agile squad and is responsible for leading a team of developers in the modernization efforts of one application on the Banks newest platform. This individual will be hands on with modernizing the legacy platform using SSIS to perform ETL functions and helping to integrate the platform.

• 5+ years of experience within data engineering
• Lead experience leading / mentoring a team of developers, helping to lead ETL automation efforts, etc.
• Automation experience for ETL deployment and testing
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL (Migrating data, Building pipelines)
• SQL Server
• Snowflake or experience within in ETL modernization
