Dietary Aide
Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals while providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following dietary guidelines
- Set up dining areas and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery
- Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service to residents or patients during meal times
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies
Qualifications :
- Experience in the food industry, dietary department, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide in a hospital, assisted living facility, or similar setting is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient or resident satisfaction
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions effectively
- Certification in dietetics or related field is advantageous
