Job Title : Product Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
Product Coordinator is responsible for receiving, organizing and distributing all product samples, collaborating with Vendors, Key Accounts, Marketing, Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the sampling process across running line and key accounts products which includes handling : requests, shipping, tracking, receiving, tagging and quality review.
Programming new products for each Market.
Helps ensure Key Accounts Specialists receive requested samples according to project timelines.
Helps ensure Purchasing and marketing teams receive new product information which includes Marketing insights, set up sheet and collection name assignments and updates for new collections in a timely manner.
Creates and maintains development Smartsheet.
Works with purchasing to tag and retag products and coordinate logistics for sample photography with Photo & Video Production Manager.
Oversees sample logistics in and out of the studio for shipment and photography needs.
Works with warehouse staff on logistics for rugs brought into and out of the studio.
Works with supervisor to pull all sample forms and prepare for department product review meetings.
Takes notes during product review and communicates with the correct department or vendor.
Track vendor sea, air and courier shipments.
Ensure compliance of sample requests as compared to design instruction.
Identify additional designs or other issues and communicate with Senior Product Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years of related customer service or administrative experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising or Product Development is preferred
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
Solves problems, proactive and ask questions
Time management skills
SCHEDULE
- Work Schedule for this position is 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday
- This position is based in Dallas, TX and cannot be performed remotely.
TRAVEL
Is required to travel less than 5% of the time within the Dallas area or domestically for meetings, events or market support
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet . Studio environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Active Role : Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling items; occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Lifting : Regularly lift / move up to 25 pounds; team-lift for heavier items.
- Vision : Must have excellent color vision and strong visual skills to match products with precision
