Mainly supporting patients who've been referred, this team of experts treats a wide variety of conditions in men, women and children surrounding urological, oncology and sexual medicine - providing care plans and in-office procedures for patients across all ages.
Overview
As the Medical Assistant you'll be working directly with the provider and assist with all aspects of the patient's visit, this includes hands-on clinical procedures.
You'll need to be comfortable with male and female pelvic exams, urinary systems, reproductive systems, and understand that treatments and additional care for patients requires discretion.
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Obtain and record patient vitals
- Updating patient records in EMR systems
- Assist with in-office procedures
- Assist with catheter placements
- Clean and sterilize exam rooms
- Stock exam room with needed supplies
- Triage patient calls + messages
- Completing other assigned projects / duties
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant degree or Current CNA credentials
- 6+ Months of recent Medical Assisting or CNA experience
- Current BLS license
- Prior EMR / EHR software experience
- Current on required immunization / vaccinations (including Covid-19 vaccination)
- Ability to obtain Medical Assisting credentials after 1-year
Schedule : Monday - Friday (8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM) per patient appointments
Compensation : $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly based on CNA / MA experience
